Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SEO4TheRest (“the Service”), a product of People Connect LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SEO4TheRest is a web-based SEO analysis and content optimization platform designed for websites built with React, Next.js, and other modern web frameworks. The Service includes a free Content Editor and paid features including a Site Scanner, Batch Import, Schema Generation, Video SEO Analysis, and Supabase Direct Publishing.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Free and Paid Tiers

4.1 Free Tier

The Free tier provides unlimited access to the Content Editor with live SEO scoring, keyword analysis, readability scoring, and Google search preview. The Free tier is available indefinitely with no credit card required.

4.2 Free Trial

New users may be offered a 30-day free trial of Pro features. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial period, the account reverts to the Free tier unless the user subscribes to a paid plan. Users will be notified by email 7 days and 2 days before trial expiration.

4.3 Paid Tiers

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Agency) are available on monthly, 6-month, and annual billing cycles. Monthly subscriptions carry a 30% premium over the 6-month and annual base rate. Current pricing is displayed on the pricing page and may be updated with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payment and Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fee to your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected billing cycle. Prices are listed in US dollars.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid subscription charge. No questions asked. This guarantee applies only to the first payment on a new subscription.

6.2 Cancellation and Prorated Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Monthly subscribers: No refund is issued. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• 6-month subscribers: A prorated refund is issued for unused full months remaining in the term.
• Annual subscribers: A prorated refund is issued for unused full months remaining in the term.

6.3 Billing Errors

If you are charged in error or experience a duplicate charge, contact us at support@seo4therest.net and we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge within 5 business days.

6.4 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@seo4therest.net with your account email and a brief reason (optional). Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or scoring algorithms
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service at scale beyond normal usage
• Share, resell, or sublicense your account access to others (except under Agency team plans)
• Upload malicious content, malware, or content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The SEO4TheRest platform, including its scoring algorithms, analysis engine, user interface, documentation, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by People Connect LLC. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your active subscription. You retain all ownership of the content you upload, create, or publish through the Service. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.

9. Your Content and Data

You are solely responsible for the content you submit to the Service. By using the Content Editor or Batch Import features, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing SEO analysis. We do not use your content for any other purpose. When you use the Supabase Direct Publish feature, you authorize the Service to insert content into your connected database. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content published to your own site.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. SEO4TheRest provides SEO analysis and recommendations. We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic increases, or business outcomes based on following our recommendations. Search engine algorithms are controlled by third parties (Google, Bing, etc.) and are subject to change without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEOPLE CONNECT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any data associated with your account may be deleted after 30 days. Termination does not affect any content you previously published to your own website via the Direct Publish feature.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
