By using SEO4TheRest, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Payment information: Billing details are processed and stored by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card number.
  • Content data: Blog posts, articles, and text content you paste or upload into the Content Editor for SEO analysis.
  • Site data: Website URLs you submit for site scanning and analysis.
  • Integration credentials: If you connect your Supabase project for direct publishing, your Supabase URL and API key are stored in encrypted form.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, SEO scores generated, and interaction patterns.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
  • Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the service is used. We use the Meta Pixel for advertising retargeting.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the SEO4TheRest platform
  • Process your subscription payments via Stripe
  • Analyze your content and websites to generate SEO scores and recommendations
  • Publish optimized content to your connected Supabase database (only when you explicitly click Publish)
  • Send you account-related communications including trial reminders, subscription confirmations, and service updates
  • Monitor usage patterns to improve the product
  • Serve retargeted advertisements via Meta Pixel to website visitors

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
  • Supabase: Our backend infrastructure provider. Your data is stored in Supabase’s SOC 2 Type II certified, GDPR-compliant infrastructure.
  • Google Analytics: For anonymized usage analytics.
  • Meta (Facebook): The Meta Pixel tracks page visits for advertising purposes. No personal content data is shared with Meta.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data is transmitted via 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
  • Integration credentials (Supabase keys) are encrypted at rest
  • Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant)
  • Row Level Security ensures users can only access their own data

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Content

Content you paste or upload into the Content Editor is processed for SEO analysis only. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including training AI models. Your content is associated with your account and is accessible only to you (and our admin team for support purposes only).

When you delete your account, all associated content and analysis data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export your data (SEO scores, content analyses, scan results)
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Disable cookies through your browser settings

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data and analysis history for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained on the Free tier so you can reactivate at any time. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

SEO4TheRest is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
